Horse face filters: 3D hats and glasses that follow your horse

Most face filters are built for people. Neigh’s are built for horses, with eyes on the sides of the head, a long muzzle and ears on top.

The looks

Give your horse a top hat, a unicorn horn, heart shades, cat ears, horns, round glasses, cool shades or a jazz tie. Each one is a 3D prop placed on your horse’s head, so it turns and nods right along with it.

There are flat looks too: a cowboy hat, a bobble hat, a flower band and a bandana. Finish the shot with colour grades and weather.

How to use them

Open the camera in Neigh and swipe through the looks the way you would in any camera app. Record as normal. The look and the translation of every call land on the same video, ready to share.

Tips for a good shot

Fill the frame with your horse’s head and neck, keep the light in front of the horse rather than behind it, and hold the phone steady. Side-on and three-quarter angles show a horse’s face best.

Questions

Are there Snapchat style filters for horses?

Yes. Neigh has face filters made for a horse’s head, including a top hat, a unicorn horn, heart shades and cat ears, as 3D props that follow the head as it moves.

Do the filters work on any horse?

They are made for horses and ponies filmed with the iPhone camera, from the side or at an angle, with the head in the frame.
